I almost broke my neck tonight at the gym! I was doing my usual run (8.3 mph) on the treadmill, i got so engross on the tv set watching the football game when my foot miss the thing that spins and landed on the side part of the machine good thing I manage to hold on to the railings. Freaking scary and embarrassing. I did felt that something wrong was gonna happen when I was doing my warm-up routine. Anyhow on to lighter news... My Yves Saint Laurent tote bag arrive two days ago! Ok it's not like what they sell in YSL that cost someone an arm to get. It's a manifesto bag from 2008 featuring Naomi Campbell but still I freaking j'dore it! I'll post pics as soon as i fix my camera. yipee!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I spend wed and thurs morning till mid afternoon at gretch's pad. We had a feast last night. Chicken, baby-back ribs, rice, cake, ice-cream.. and all of those highly fattening food that I'm not gonna mention since I'm still on denial. We also played cards and since I am my mother's son I obviously won. hihi! I haven't played cards for years. It could have been perfect If i wasn't sick. which by the way I still am. I catch a flu last sunday from Sue (on of my co-worker). Now I can hardly breathe which means I'm a mess. Happy Thanksgiving anyhow...

OMG!!! I manage to snag a YSL tote bag for a freaking sweet deal...
ok it's last year's Manifesto Tote that they gave to the fashion capital of the world. It features Naomi Campbell. Since I mention Naomi.. I gotta say.. I'm not a fan of the notorious supermodel. I mean, don't get me wrong coz i do love skinny bitches but she just exudes a certain type of aura that ticks me off. (and not because shes black. lol)

Cardigan

I'm on a mission on finding the perfect cardigan. So far I have scout most of the boutiques in downtown SF. From H&M, to Zara goin to Armani, Urbanoutfitters and Ben Sherman. Most of them don't fit quite right. I've been having problems on the armpits area. It's like I have bat wings and all. I did find some nice ones though, Ben and Armani really have nice ones but the price is killing me especially now that I made a commitment to pay the insurance and monthly thingy for my parents new car and I also told my friend Elena that I'm going to shoulder the expenses on her wedding reception since I love her to death that I would kill for her.

Tree

Christmas is fast approaching!!! Downtown San Francisco is looking yuletide-y. I saw people working on the giant tree on Union Square and the ice rink is almost finish.

All this x-mas talk make's me remember Jack on Will and Grace when Karen's mother-in-law asked him if he was gay too to which he replied "As Christmas in Bloomingdale's, Girlfriend" lol

I had a chance encounter with the cute guy I've been slightly obsessing for quite a while. The experience was so surreal and fast. I was boarding the train while he was getting out of it. hihi

Laundry

It's Laundry Day!!! I haven't done laundry for almost 3 weeks. I felt rejuvinated as i was watching my clothes get clean. (that sounded like i'm on crack or something. lol) Did some cleaning up in my room. My closet has never look so organized. But now I'm dying to get new cabinets or atleast rack for my clothes and 2 bedside tables. I saw these piece on Paolo Savi's blog about using ur old magazine as your bedside table. I kinda did that back in the Philippines but now i don't have enough magazines with me. Anyhow... here's some pictures of me and bambi back when she visited me doing laundry.

Will and Grace

I mange to come to my friend's b-day party last night but I became a liability since I was sick. I didn't enjoy the party at all. I arrive around 7pm and manage to have a few bite before I crash in her bed and stay there till this morning. So basically I just went to her house to sleep. When I woke up this morning and check my phone I have a message from Sue saying that she can't work for me. So i called my chef and told her about it. Things got out of hand that I just find myself waiting for Aurelia to go to work.. Yes people I was goin to work even though I have a freaking fever. (you gotta do what you gotta do aight?) So I was waiting at the 5th st. for Aurelia to show up when I receive a phone call from Sue saying that she's on her way and she's gonna work for me. So basically I went to downtown for nothing and my whole day was ruined.

On the lighter side... While all these things was goin on I receive another call this time it was my housemate Wren.. He was checking on me If i was ok since I forgot to tell him that I won't sleeping in the apartment last night. Just shows that he cares for me. Thanks Wren!!!


Also my chef decided to give me Saturday off too to give me enough time to rest. Just when I think he's an a@)($*@le, he rise!


So for tonight and tomorrow it's goin to be soups and Will and Grace marathon.

Sick

I'm afraid I'm gonna have a fever by tomorrow. My back hurts like I'm carrying a sumo wrestler and my eyes feels like their gonna fall. Either that or I'm just being a drama queen again. I hope it's the later. It's my goodfriend Gretch's b-day today and tomorrow she's gonna throw a party at her crib. Don't really feel like writing anymore and by this time you probably figured out that this post is boring. Mayap a bengi!!!

Back from the dead

I know I haven't posted anything for the pas few weeks. I've been really busy juggling work and trying to have a social life at the same time. From now on expect that they're gonna be more posting coming from moi.

Halloween at castro was fun. Tons of people came although there wasn't actually a party but since people have been comin to the area for years so it doesn't matter is there's an official party or not people are still gonna show up. I dress as a Japanese schoolboy this time. Last year i was an English Schoolboy but it didn't really work out well since i was so fat back then.

Chambre

I finally manage to decorate my room (a little bit). Chinky and Marnie help grab some stuff from Ikea last Thursday. I got some drapes, rugs and lantern to jazz up my room. The closet is still a hot tranny mess. As for bed.. I still have to find nice comforters and sheets and buy new side tables too.

It was a sunny day today here in San Francisco. I actually woke up sweating because of the heat and all. The first thing I did was text m boss if I could pick up my check either at downtown or at the zoo. I'm dying ot buy a new bed. It's been more than a month and i still haven't bought anything yet for my bedroom. Anyhow I was on my way to downtown Sf when the train passed by a japanese furniture store (i'm a whore for anything japanese except for men. lol). HTe store is super chic but a little too pricey for me. I wanna go to Ikea but since I don't have a car and my friends won't drive me.. I have to arrange something with my housemate on thursday if he could pick me up at the store since he has a pick-up truck.

I've been dying to buy these pair of shoes rom them or quite a while but i have been saving to move to a new apartment. Today I inally got the pair of loafers that I want and good thing they're on sale! rom 129.00 to 39.00. Super cheap!

Also since shed a lot of lbs, the red jeans that I used to have don't it me anymore. I di mange to grab one from H&M or a really low price aswell.

I got a a new place y'all! Remeber when I was so excited about this room I found in craigslists? well.. after long nerve wracking days i finally got it! I'm so happy. This is my gift to myself this year (I still thinking of getting an apple laptop though) The room has 5 windows, a walk-in closet that has a window aswell.. It has freaking huge mirror which i kinda like too. I just move in today so it's stil kinda messep up. I can't wait to decorate it! here are some of the things that I'm planning to buy..

1. bed Ikea.. probably a nice sofa bed.
2. fabulous rug from home depot.. lol just kidding..
3. stuff to put my clothes since the walk-in is jsut literally just a walk in closet.
4. a coffee table/reading table
5. chair

I would love my room to look like a love child of japan and detriot michigan. (earth and steel.. i know i'm weird but watever!)

Cricket

It was my b-day yesterday but I didn't gt the chance to celebrate it. But today I went out to have a grand ole day.

First stop Westfields Bistro. I had soup and sandwich for brunch. (Oh by the way I have a minor fever but whatever.) After I treat myself to Chardonnay and Plate of Cheese at Sausage Factory. I was actually waiting for two pm to come so I can watch a film at the Castro Theatre. The Film Festival is currently going on.

I was buying the ticket for the movie when this lady came out of nowhere and gave me a free ticket. She freaking made my day. Salamat po!!! Movie was great and I even got the chance to meet the director and stars of the movie.

I was on my way home when I decided to stp by downtown and hit the shops. (remember I'm not suppose to buy anything since i'm planning on buying a new laptop and all).

But I end up buying a bag from Mango and a shirt too. Ahhhh!!!! They are having a freaking huge sale event. Half price off. After Disney.. Mango is the happiest place on earth! I also reserve the purple loafers. from $129 to $37.95. I know crazy ryt? I'm so gonna go back.

Me and Marnie went out check out a room down by Duboce Ave which is like 5 to 6 blocks away from Castro.The room has 5 windows it's so fab. And get this! It has a freaking walk-in closet! Yes people the closet is so big, I'm won't mind going bakc inside. lol!

Wren said he promise some people that he's gonna show them the place but I'm really hoping that he's gonna give to moi! (fingers cross!!!)

What was I thinking???

OK.. I found this amazing tote/messenger bag at ZARA today. I was actually on my way to the gym when I decided to stop by at their store. It's the same one as Paolo Savi (awesome blogger) has which I believe he got from Dubai or Sweden (can't remeber). It's retailed for $59.00. not bad for an awesome bag. I was so gonna buy it but I got pissed with the cashier at the register. they were taking forever to finished and being so insensitive. I don't know what got into me that i decided to leave the bag and get the hell outta store. So now I'm hoping that it's still there tommorow or on wednesday when I go back... pinchi pendejo!


Actually I'm really not suppose to buy anything since I'm saving for a new laptop and all but I just can't help myself! I need that bag! I gotta have that bag!!! argh! (i'm having a whitney houston moment here)

Is it wierd that i cried and laugh at the same time while watching Up? The movie was awesome. Ok I watch it in Castro Theater (I was by myself like an old white woman.)

I went to downtown again.. i know! i know! i'll admit it I'm a shopaholic! sue me! they have this cute tote from Ben Sherman but I think the one from HE is fierce too. I didn't buy anything since I already max out my CC and gretch's def. gonna have a hissy fit again if she finds out.

Today was absolutely stress free for me. Well almost! I kinda woke up a little too early 'coz my roommate was making so much noise. (i need to discuss the matter with her later tonight. )

Anyhow.. I went to Castro to have lunch and coffee but an hour or two I got bored so I decided to hit the shops in downtown. I was looking for black pants/slacks and leather shoes for my work. I found a pair of really nice pants and shorts at H&M and some really cool shoes at Urbanoutfitters but I'm still thinking if I should buy them. Also i saw these shorts but looking at the pic right now? the fit is kinda off.


OMG! I almost forgot to put it on my blog! Apple Store has some really cool deals going on right now! I'm dying to have a macbook since I got here in the US. I might get one by July that is if I don't end up buying clothes again. (fingers cross)

Things actually went well today at work. Nothing out of the ordinary.

After work i went to the gym and run my ass off since I won't be able to go on friday and saturday (work issue). My roommate was surprise I was home early since I usually go home around 9 or close to 10 most of the time.

I'm so glad my week is finally over! This week was so tiring you guys have no idea. We had back to back catering and I still have to manage the Cafe' and above all the chaos my lunatic employee and superior drove me nuts. For some reason everybody see me as a freaking shock absorber. It's like "Hey there's JP maybe I can go ahead and pour all my problems on him so I can feel good today".

Tomorrow's monday and I'm gonna meet my good friend Chinky!!! We haven't seen each other for like two weeks or something. I'm planning on us having lunch in Castro and maybe buy some stuff from these fabulous thrift store in the neighborhood. I'm gonna post pics and the stuff that I might buy. Confusing Weather

I'm freaking exhausted ryt now. I got up for work around 8am and I just got home a while ago. (10:55pm). I have to stay since we have a big catering. It's sucks but on the brighter side It's kinda good because I get more hours (i'm dying to buy a mac book platinum).

Weather is crazy today too! OK.. So i check the weather from my bathroom window and the sun was out. It was awesome coz I have a valid reason to wear shorts. But when I got to downtown SF, it was all cloudy and kinda windy and by the time we get at the space center (Yes! I work at a Space Center...) I was freezing my ass off. It was so foggy and windy. The girl at the front desk look at me all weird and stuff and she goes "well.. you're not properly dress up for the weather honey.. " lol!

I went to Zara after my long journey from work yesterday. I had a mission! I need to buy myself a pair of sneakers. I told myself.. "your only gonna buy a pair of shoes! that's it! nothing else!" I was actually planning on buying these red colored sneakers but decided to just buy the blue ones since the red pair are more "serious" looking (lack of better word). Anyhow, I was on my way to the register (the sales guy was actually waiting for me) when I saw an oversize black scarf! If you watch the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" you will understand on why i bought it. It's not really that expensive ($20-ish).
