I was off last Monday and so was Marlon so we decided meet at Molly Stones to grab the stuff for our lunch.
Mar cooked stir fry veggies while moi made salsa, grilled asparagus and we bought rosemary roasted chicken. It was delish specially the grilled asparagus. After lunch we head towards the park and had those fabulous baby bottles of pinot gris which we paired with our home-made salsa and lemon flavored chips. After basking under the sun, we got bored and head towards back Castro. We stopped by Cafe Flore' for some much need sagria, fries and cheese cake. (fatties)
We end up going to Toad Hall after we left the cafe for happy hour (I know we are total drunks) They were having two for one drink special. It was around 6 or 7pm when they had Rupaul's Dragged Race on one of the tv screen. So there I was minding my own business watching the show when this two gay boys came up to our table asking if we were Filipinos. I said that i was but mar proudly correct him that he was Navajo. The two gay boys got all excited about Mar being a native since they said they are native aswell. They were having fun talking about the shenanigans about native people which I didn't mind at all when one of the guys look at me and started bad mouthing me, saying that I'm not a Pacific Islander that I am an asian. He went on and on about how Filipinos keep telling people that they are pacific islander. Uhm.. first of all, i didn't say that I am pacific islander. I finally have to tell him to stop because he was making a scene and people started looking at us. I was starting to get mortified when the bartender and the bouncer came up to us and told the guy that they have to leave since he was making a fool f himself. I hate being confrontational and attracting unnecessary attention.
