One of the perks of a beautiful summer was being able to hangout at my rooftop. I must have thrown at least 8 of them this this year.

Pride Weekend

 Where to begin... hmm..

Friday: Tranny March!
Spent my whole morning with Jeny at Dolores Park drinking wine and beer and eating god know's what. We parted way's around 5pm and I went to the tranny shack. The girls presented me with a cake which was really sweet. Around 9pm we head out to Castro. I think we end up at Toad hall and dance the night away. I may or may not passed out at Marlon's couch at the end of the night. All I can remember is waking up the next day on his apartment.

Saturday: Dyke March
Went home took a much need shower and once again went to Dolores Park for Pink Saturday. I passed out at the park for two hours. You would too if you barely got any sleep the night before. Marlon left around 3pm to get ready for the party. They throw a party at their apartment that night. Me and Jeny joined the crazy people for the Dyke march around 6pm. The route was from Dolores Park going to Guerrero, made a left on 16 St. and end up at Castro. We had so much fun since we we're right next to the drummers. We was chugging a bottle of champagne. After the parade we went ahead to the shack for the party. Party went on the whole night but i kind of got bored and decided to join Jeny on her friends house party located just above the Harvey's Bar. Marlon and Rich joined me. Mind you rich was wearing 8 inch heels and this super futuristic make up and soe feathers and leather something. Show stopper! We left the party quite late and decided to go home. I once again may or may not passed out on marlon's couch.

Sunday: Pride Parade
I was just over it! Bitch be tired. Going to the parade didn't interest me at all. but it only happens once a year so I have to go. We had brunch at Creolla Kitchen first and then walk.. 12 freaking blocks. That's right. WALK! I was wearing loafer too. ouch! Pride after party at the civic center was just very commercialize. It was ok but not as fun as Saturday at dolores park.

Cake

Isn't it amazing that not only I that I live here In San Francisco, the best city to live if you're looking for equality (well almost), I also live right by the LGBT Center which is near Castro and my b-day falls on pride week?!

For this year me b-day falls on a friday. perfect timing since the festivities commence at friday during pride week and last till Sunday or Monday depending on you.

Break down on what happened during that crazy weekend coming up on my next post.

Thank you Jerold for the cake!!!

with Rich and Stephen. Folks are visiting from New Zealand. Fabulous people!

Brunch

Is having a spectacular summer a valid reason for not posting regularly on one's blog? Does having a life away from your laptop an excuse? People might say that if blogging is really my passion having a busy social calendar shouldn't affect it right?

Oh well...

One of the reason why I created this blog is because I want to have a place where I can post anything I want. It's not fashion blog, work, lifestyle. It's everything! There's no specific category. That is maybe the reason why i don't have any followers but that's the least of my concern. I for one ain't no dreaming of becoming the next great blogger.

So here's to the next order of business...

Brunch!

It's such a huge thing here in San Francisco. Anywhere in the city on weekend you will find a group of people packed in a little corner having eggs benedict while sipping mimosas or enjoying a tall glass of bloodymary.

I got this at The Grove. It's eggs florentine with a side of smoked salmon served with watermelonade. delish!

my girl Chinky had some huevos rancheros at Squat and Gobble. I think I had crab cakes and of course mimosas.

Brandon and Marlon having pancakes and frittata at Luna Cafe.

Lauren

Here I am listening to Miike Snow's song Animal. It's good to be back to blogging. It's been quite a while. I kind of miss posting some random shenanigans on this blog of mine.

So now that I'm officially back, here is  the first order of business...

Lauren!

My good friend Lauren moved to Los Angeles on the first week of November. Me and Kurt decided to throw her a "surprise" going away party. We had it at Kurt's fabulous apartment. God! i love his kitchen. Been going to his place at least once a week  just so i can cook something.
I did the table setting setting. i can't remember the name of the flowers but there are 3 different flowers in there. I also did the chalk board. :)

That's Kurt making his sushi and Lauren waiting for her turn. We all took turn making our own sushi. Hella fun i must say.

Kolin presenting our creations! Sushi serve with Sauvignon Blanc. Gotta keep it classy!

Shannon showing us how to properly make a kick-ass sushi japanese-american style! Bam!

Dinner is about to be serve. Kolin added some stars and hearts on the board. i know you can't see it but I made chicken adobo and shrimp curry served with white rice and bread.

Appetisser; Home-made salsa, guacamole and hummus served with chips and fresh cut vegetables.

Eat your heart out

I don't use the kitchen in my apartment that often but when I do i tend to make it worth while since my roommate is very particular about cleanliness. I mean like "anal".

Basically you have to clean right after you cook. That's right! Right after the food is cook you have to clean that damn stove so the food wont dry and stick into the freaking stove. urgh!

Steam Tilapia served with asparagus and tofu.

Yellow

Me and Mar passed by this gorgeous piece of metal on our way to his apartment.

Fierce!
